Nail Art

Beautiful flowers

If you love to wear bracelets and rings you probably should take care of your nails. Well groomed nails are important since jewelry does draw attention to your hands. I will be the first to admit that I don’t take care of my nails. My manicures are sporadic at best and there are times when I have nothing but hangnails. I chalk this up to working with my hands and just plain laziness.

Eye catching tips

There are others who spend a great deal of time and money on getting their nails done. When I get a manicure I usually have my nails buffed. I know that I will chip my polish in a matter of hours and I’m too impatient to wait for it to dry anyways. So my hat goes off to those who not only wait for the polish to dry but endure several coats as well.

Zebra strips

Manicurists have become extremely artistic and are now producing some real art on nails. Gone are the days of simple one colored polish, now manicurists are depicting everything from flowers, to strips, polka dots and even angry birds. I’m constantly amazed at how intricate some of this art work really is, and all on a fingernail.

 Very creative

While I’ll probably stick with my buffed nails when I go in for a manicure, I can’t help but admire those little bits of nail art. It’s creative and beautiful and some are so fantastic that you might not even need jewelry on your hands. This is probably why I have my nails buffed; I have to wear my rings.

Just a little kiss
